RICK VEID, CPA

Rick’s expertise is based upon his years of experience as an accountant, controller and a specialist in small business and individual tax planning. He has more than 22 years of experience as a controller, including 12 years as a Controller at Miami Corporation. He has owned his own public accounting firm since 2001. He has represented tax clients through the appeals process with the Internal Revenue Service and with the various tax agencies located in Ohio and Kentucky.

Rick is known as the T.V. star around the office, since he routinely answers consumer tax questions on the Tax Tip Hotline run by Channel 9 (WCPO) and hosted by John Matarese of “Don’t Waste Your Money.”

DIANA VEID, CPA/ABV, CVA

Diana’s experience comes from both industry and public accounting. More recently she has been with both local (J.D. Cloud & Co. LLP) and national (BKD, LLP) CPA firms for more than 14 years. Previously she worked as a general accountant for a large medical manufacturer (Liebel-Flarsheim Company). Her experience in industry taught her the importance of service. Quite often she recalls receiving tax returns and financial statements on the due date, with very little time to review for accuracy. Often times the tax consultant wasn’t available for critical decisions.Therefore, she continues to push for access with her clients throughout the year when decisions are being made.

She has significant audit and tax experience working with small to medium sized companies and not-for-profits. Diana also specializes in high-net worth individual income taxes. She has participated in more than 180 business valuations since 1998 in specialty areas, such as, partnering, gift & estate and intangible asset valuations.
